TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) plans to Dump 1.3 Million Tonnes of NUCLEAR WASTEWATER into our Pacific Ocean this summer 2023!

Shockingly, only 19 out of the 64 radioactive elements will be filtered before the release, raising concerns about the environmental impact. The repercussions are grave, as bioaccumulation of these elements can lead to DNA mutations, cancer, organ failure, and abnormal fetal development. The lack of consistent data provided by TEPCO adds to the urgency of the situation. Once the nuclear wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is dumped into our ocean, the nuclear waste will irreversibly contaminate the water, plants, sediment, and fish, with far-reaching consequences. The potential impact extends beyond Japan, as ocean currents will carry the contamination to Pacific communities, including our Hawaiian islands. Alternative solutions like bioremediation and secure cement storage offer hope. How we respond to this imminent crisis will shape our approach to future environmental challenges, setting a standard for corporate and national accountability.
